Dunalley Hotel The Dunalley Hotel is a country pub located in the township of Dunalley, approximately 56km east of Hobart on the main drag to the Tasman Peninsula. We called into this pub one evening on a public holiday after a day of hiking . The pub was nicely humming with locals and tourists and the staff were very welcoming. The exterior of the building is beautiful, grand and certainly a landmark of the area. Although the interior of the building is simple, it is clean and comfortable. The wood fireplaces would no doubt make it a very cosy place to enjoy a meal in winter. There are a variety of dishes on the menu and specials board to choose from: plenty of seafood dishes, chicken, beef and mushroom (I know, mushroom!) parmigiana options, steaks, burgers and roasts. We found the beef schnitzel with creamy seafood topper to be particularly enjoyable. The beef was thick (steak thickness rather than schnitzel thickness) and succulent. The meals, while not gastronomical masterpieces,
