Horseshoe Inn
The Horseshoe Inn is a pub located in Cambridge, approximately 12km east of Hobart. The décor of the pub may be modest, but the food is hearty, the portions are ginormous and the value is excellent. The Horseshoe Inn is known for its generously-sized meals, so in recognition of this, smaller serves are available. While The Horseshoe Inn is no secret to locals, travellers should take note that it is less than 2km away from the Barilla Bay Holiday Park. As an appetiser, you really can't go past the infamous cheesy garlic bread. It was sumptuous and deliciously cheesy and garlicky, the perfect way to start a meal. The schnitzels were succulent on the inside and crispy on the outside. They come with your choice of chips and coleslaw or veggies. We ordered one with gravy and veggies (steamed potatoes, carrots, peas and corn in a creamy curry cheese sauce).
