Skippers Fish Shop is a floating seafood takeaway shop located in St Helens, approximately 165km east of Launceston. Skippers has views of the water and boats, so the boardwalk area and neighbouring grassy areas are lovely spots to eat your meal. The seafood is excellent quality and the cooked meals are cooked to perfection. We've enjoyed a number of meals from Skippers, and each time the seafood has been treated with great respect. It's easy to see why Skippers is always busy. The staff are friendly and efficient, so you never have to wait long for your order. The battered fish is always juicy and flaky while the crumbed calamari are tender and generous in size. The crumbed or battered coating is crispy and adds great texture.
