New Norfolk Caravan Park
New Norfolk Caravan Park is located in the Derwent Valley, approximately 36km North-West of Hobart. Located on the banks of the River Derwent, New Norfolk Caravan Park is a great place to base yourself to explore places like Mount Field or to break up the drive to and from the Lakes region or the West Coast. The caravan park is pet friendly and offers powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins. The toilets and showers are modest, but very clean. There is a coin-operated laundry, outdoor clothes lines and camp kitchen for use by the park's visitors. The grounds are lush, green and well maintained. We requested an unpowered site as close to the river as possible. We were placed on the grassy area right next to the public walking track. It doesn't look like it forms part of the caravan park, but it does.
