Meresta Eatery
Meresta Eatery is located in Binalong Bay in the world famous Bay of Fires, approximately 175km East of Launceston. This casual chic eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has stunning water views. For breakfast we sat outside on the covered balcony and even though it was a cloudy day, the view was still gorgeous. We started off with a chocolate milkshake and a chai latte. Both drinks were lovely and creamy. The chocolate milkshake was rich and chocolatey while the chai had just the right amount of spice in its sweetness. The brisket hash pot was a lovely little baked dish filled with tender beef brisket, fried potato, egg, cheese, capsicum and onion and a crispy slice of sourdough on the side for crunch. This deceptively filling dish was great because it was something a bit different from the usual breakfast options we come to expect. We also had the big brekkie, which lived up to its name - eggs, bacon rashers, pork sausage, mushroom, grilled tomato, hash bro
