Huon Valley Caravan Park
Huon Valley Caravan Park is a peaceful riverside caravan park located in Huonville, approximately 38km south of Hobart. This huge caravan park offers unpowered sites, powered sites, premium riverside powered sites and ensuite sites. The premium riverside powered sites are situated on the banks of Mountain River, but still allow plenty of room for other guests to walk along the banks without intrusion. This is a dog friendly caravan park and it's great to see dogs walking around the park with their owners. Owners must pay a pet bond, which is refunded upon departure provided the pets don't cause any damage. There is also a dedicated off-leash area for dogs, which although isn't fully fenced, is a fantastic large area for dogs to stretch their legs. Huon Valley Caravan Park offers direct access to Mountain River (which flows into the mighty Huon River) and a calm area for swimming and/or kayaking.
