Hastings thermal springs pool and café are located in Hastings, approximately 105km South of Hobart.  The thermal springs pool and café form part of the Hastings Caves State Reserve and are located within the Hastings Caves visitor centre. Although the pool looks like a normal swimming pool, the naturally warm water is fed by nearby thermal springs. The warm water creates an eerie yet beautiful steam that hovers above the surface of the water as the warmth of the water collides with the cooler air. Around the thermal springs pool is a beautiful, lush-green picnic and barbeque area. There is a gorgeous stone barbeque hut that houses four barbeques and multiple picnic benches.  The stone barbeque hut also has two large wood fires to keep visitors warm on chilly days. Another timber hut on the other side of the mossy lawn provides more undercover picnic benches. Toilets, showers and change rooms are located in another beautifully-built stone building.
