Hastings Caves
Hastings Caves is located approximately 105km south of Hobart. It's advisable to book your tickets to the caves prior to arrival as the tours fill up quickly. Payment is required on the day and made at the Hastings café at the visitor centre. It's asked that you get there 45 minutes prior to your tour time to allow for payment to be made, collections of tickets and to travel the 1km up the gravel road from the café to the cave trail. There are toilets located at the café and at the start of the walk to the cave entrance. Shelter can be found at the cave entrance while you await for your tour to start. The tour goes for approximately 45 minutes depending on the tour guide. All the guides are well versed in the history of the caves since their discovery.
